Calgary Communications – The BlackBird Copywriting Difference!

October 26th, 2009

Dear Fellow Dream Builder;

I want to talk to you today about the power of Calgary communications. I’d like to show you just how effective we are at Calgary communications and marketing generally. You see, it is all well and good to have fancy communications strategies in place, but if you aren’t communicating to your audience just how valuable is the effort you’ve put into Calgary communications generally? Not very effective I’d argue.

You see, the key in any communication and marketing strategy is to reach your target audience. If you’re not reaching them, your Calgary copywriting and Calgary advertising strategies are not working. Copywriting is hugely important, and direct response marketing and other general marketing approaches are critical to your business success. You’ve just got to get eyeballs to read what you’re putting out there. If you’re reading this post on Calgary communications you’ve likely landed on my blog through a Google search for the term “Calgary communications” and you’ll likely have noticed that I was on the first page for this term which gets over 8000 searches a month.

That’s 16,000 pairs of eyeballs that saw my link. Granted not all of them will click on my link for the search term “Calgary communications”, but I can assure you, I’m getting well over 1000 visitors to my site from this term alone. Can you start to see the power that getting your communications’ messages in front of thousands of additional customers would do for your business? It would increase your bottom line substantially at very little cost to you.

So if you’re interested in how my Calgary communications can help you increase your business sales and drive targeted traffic to your site, please give me a call and I’ll show you just how easy this is. Just one last thing. The search term Calgary communications is a small one, yet I still get over 1000 visitors a month to my site from it. If you’re a doctor, lawyer, accountant, plumber, electrician – frankly if you have any sort of business you need to start firstly with getting your marketing right to rank on the first page of Google. The best Calgary advertising is not going to increase your business if you can’t get eyeballs to read it. Yet the worst Calgary copywriting will increase your business if you can get enough eyeballs to see it. This is the key.

So please get in touch with me and let me show you how my Calgary communications’ strategies can boost your income and cement your customer loyalty.

There is no Surrogate for Your Business – You Are the Answer

October 10th, 2009

Dear Fellow Dream Builder;

I saw the movie Surrogates yesterday. Great show. You can always bank on Bruce Willis. The gentleman has style and he’s aging well. Makes you wonder if he’s had some help with that. But that’s not what I want to talk to you about today. Today is all about business communications, B2B marketing and as always I like to comet to it from a copywriting angle.

I won’t spoil the movie for you. The basic tenet is that we start interacting with each other through surrogates that we control sort of like you might in a 3D video game. So folks start losing touch with each other at an intimate physical level.

So you might be wondering, neat movie idea, what does it have to do with me as a business owner. That’s what I want to talk about. It got me thinking about human relationships generally. Business is based on relationships. This is business 101. You have to build relationships with your customers, your vendors if you’re a B2B endeavor and your clients.

And their is no surrogate for real and intimate relationships. This is was perhaps the main theme behind the movie. I’m not going to give any spoilers. This idea got me thinking about how it carries over to business relationships.

Sometimes we lose sight of the fact that our business relationships are somehow different from our personal relationships. I think nothing could be further from the truth. We do business with folks we like. Folks that have integrity, deal with us honestly, are loyal and deliver on time. Much like the characteristics we expect from our friends. These are the same characteristics we knowingly or unknowingly expect from our business partners. Whether you are B2B or B2C.

I always try first to see how my services can be of benefit to my B2B and B2C clients. The fundamental question I am always asking is how I may be of benefit to them? When you serve you will reap rewards. Just as a gardener tends his garden. He serves first and then he is met with a beautiful bounty.

The only way to do that is to be authentic. You cannot have a surrogate to replace your deep and flourishing relationships. No body wants to be palmed off to an underling.

Make sure you are available to your clients. Especially when they have concerns and need to vent. You’ll be amazed at the power of kind words to soothe ruffled feathers. But you have to do it. Earn the trust of your customers by being authentic. Being human, even if that means warts and all. People respond to that. We need it. We are after all social beings.

There is no place for surrogates in your business. Check out the movie and tell me what you think. But don’t send your surrogate.

Jason
